Swindon Urban Fringe Project

Land Use Consultants has been commissioned by the North Wessex Downs AONB to develop an Action Plan for the southern fringes of Swindon. A Working Group has been convened to contribute thoughts, expertise and judgement to help draw up the Action Plan.

The Action Plan will seek to maximise all round benefits (for local people, businesses and the environment) in an area where the urban pressures of Swindon adjoin a nationally important landscape – the North Wessex Downs AONB.

This web page will hold all the documents produced prior to and following the three Working Group Meetings – the first to be held on 1 November 2004, with the third and final one taking place in January 2005.
