Bristol Office

Opened in 1990, the Bristol Office of LUC has become a centre of excellence in integrated rural development and is a leading proponent of sustainability appraisal and strategic environmental assessment and increasingly resource management. The office, with 15 staff, is very active. At any one time we are working on a diverse range of projects united by the themes of sustainability and, typically, ‘rurality’.

The office works throughout England and Wales. Our sustainability appraisal work has taken on an increasingly international aspect with work in South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania, China, Vietnam, Hungary, Bulgaria, Gibraltar and elsewhere, including work with the European Union more generally.
