Kilmartin Glen

One of Scotland’s richest concentrations of archaeological sites spanning eight millennia.

LUC produced an integrated interpretation-management plan for the whole Glen which sought to reconcile visitor pressures, with forestry and agriculture and other land management needs. This work led on to a series of built projects in the Glen including gateways, interpretation points, car parks and access.

These projects won the Environmental Regeneration and Millennium Marque Awards
