We have prepared twelve council-wide access strategies and worked with more than twenty communities to develop proposals for local path networks. Much of this work has been in response to the right of responsible access established by Land Reform (Scotland) Act, including the requirement placed on access authorities to define Core Paths. It has also linked to other policy priorities including health, social inclusion, environmental and social justice and sustainable transport.
We have also completed a number of greenspace projects including national level research for Greenspace Scotland and its partners, and audits of greenspace across a number of council areas.
