LUC work with Microsoft Access, often fully integrated with GIS, to create simple outputs from complex database structures. By creating database ‘front-ends’ that are simple to use we aim to enable non-technical users to maintain and access information as and when needed.
LUC is experienced in developing and using databases for a range of purposes, including:
- site based analysis, for example assessing information on open spaces or potential waste sites;
- the analysis of consultation responses - questionnaire evaluation and summarising;
- storage of information for landscape planning, for example descriptions and data summaries within landscape character areas;.
- Census data analysis.
