Digital Design

LUC’s in-house Digital Design team is able to analyse and communicate project information using advanced computer techniques and multi-media presentation.

The team is technically advanced and can deliver accurate and creative output.

Our approach

We work with clients, colleagues and communities on a very diverse range of projects.

We use GIS throughout the practice, particularly within landscape planning, integrated rural development and environmental resource planning. Assimilating large quantities of spatial information from local to global, we frequently use GIS to enable site selection studies, to inform environmental impact assessments and landscape character assessments, and to undertake spatial analysis of complex socio-economic data.

CAD output is particularly relevant in landscape design and management plans, with the Digital Design team placing emphasis on three-dimensional computer modelling and analysis. Our Graphic Designers produce work across the board, including report production, exhibition panels and promotional leaflets.

Our experience

The Digital Design team is experienced in the use of appropriate technology and is grounded in the wider environmental profession. Our team includes Landscape Architects and qualified specialists in GIS, CAD, Graphic and Web Design.
