Heritage Lottery Fund

The Heritage Lottery Fund Urban Parks Programme directs funding specifically towards downgraded public parks and aims
to refurbish and re-invigorate them as the vital green hearts of
local communities.

LUC worked with the HLF to establish how the programme could operate and has now over four years experience of preparing bids for applicants.

Many applications require the input of a wide range of skills and can be daunting to contemplate. LUC operate as project managers, co-ordinating inputs from the project team so that the bid documents and plans are coherent and comprehensive.

Applications to the HLF

To date we have made a total of over seventeen successful applications to the HLF for clients. Each has included the production of a detailed historic landscape survey and restoration management plan.
