Richard Flenley has been in practice with LUC since 1970 and has undertaken a very wide range of projects from broad scale landscape assessment down to detailed design and implementation of projects on the ground. He has been Principal-in-charge of numerous award-winning projects and an advisor to the Royal Parks since 1980.
Richard has been involved in a wide variety of landscape design work throughout the country. He was principal in charge of work at British Airways at Waterside (Harmondsworth) which is BA's Combined Business Centre and supervised the creation of 250 acre public parkland from derelict land 1993-99. Other commercial property design projects include Intec 40 (Acton); Marks and Spencer Financial Services H.Q. at Chester Business Park; Lennox Wood Computer Centre (Southwater); Kembrey Park ( Swindon ) and Westside (King's Langley) for Sun Alliance. 1980- 1990, Pfizer at Sandwich , 1998-99. He has led on a large number of landscape materplan/strategies including work at St. Andrew’s Hospital, Northampton , Wycombe Abbey School , Bucks, Newbold Revel and Bedfont Hotel.
