Profile

Joanna Wright, Principal, is an environmental planner, based in our Glasgow office.  Joanna has over 15 years experience, ranging from site-based projects, including windfarms, overhead transmission lines and both waste and water infrastructure, to strategic planning work for local authorities, and government agencies.

She has managed a number of large scale Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), including the EIA for Clyde Windfarm, the largest consented on-shore windfarm in Western Europe.

Joanna has undertaken a range of research commissions, a number of which have culminated in the preparation of good practice guidance.  Most recently, she co-authored guidance on the preparation of Environmental Management Plans for the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
