Profile

Marc van Grieken, Principal, is a chartered landscape architect, based in our Glasgow office with over 25 years experience in the UK and overseas.  Marc’s work has focussed on landscape and urban design, master planning, environmental impact assessment, land reclamation, development planning and access planning.  He has also provided landscape and visual evidence at a range of public inquiries.  He has advised on landscape and visual issues relating to wind energy developments in New Zealand and the Netherlands. 

Marc recently delivered a keynote presentation at the Annual Conference of the New Zealand Wind Energy Association and spoke on climate change to the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects Annual Conference.

Marc is an occasional guest speaker for Architecture and Landscape Architecture courses across Scotland.

He has been appointed onto review panels for Architecture and Design Scotland and the Fife Council, as well as the GLVIA advisory panel.
