The company was founded in 1966 by Max Nicholson, an eminent environmentalist and former Director General of the Nature Conservancy Council, as the UK ’s first multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy. We work with an established network of specialist consultants to provide integrated, comprehensive advice on a wide range of environmental and sustainability issues.

Our People

LUC employs highly qualified people of varying backgrounds, disciplines and experience. The company is managed by 16 Principals and 11 Associates, most of whom have been with LUC for 10 years or more. We also seek to inject new talent to keep our ideas fresh and our services to clients at the forefront of thinking.
