Innovative LUC study planning for solar PV and wind energy adopted

We are delighted that Torridge District Council has adopted LUC's landscape sensitivity assessment for wind and solar PV developments.

This work provides Torridge District Council's Planning Policy and Development Management teams with a robust evidence base that can be used to inform decisions on the future exploitation of wind and solar resources in Torridge District.

The study also includes guidance on the siting and design of future renewable energy schemes to ensure a forward-thinking yet informed approach to renewable energy deployment in the District.
