We are proud to discover that the Lowther Castle and Gardens restoration project, for which LUC is the lead landscape architect, has received an interim CEEQUAL score of 92.2%, well above the 75% ‘Excellent’ threshold.
CEEQUAL is the assessment and awards scheme for improving sustainability in civil engineering, landscaping and the public realm, and celebrates the achievement of high environmental and social performance. It rewards teams in which clients, designers and constructors go beyond the legal and environmental minima to achieve distinctive environmental and social standards. Integration of the question set in the development of projects positively influences design and construction management and often leads to better projects than would otherwise have been the case.
