LUC commissioned to help establish three Local Nature Partnerships
We are delighted that LUC has just been commissioned to support the establishment of three new Local Nature Partnerships (LNPs): in Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly, Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes and Gloucestershire.

Local Nature Partnerships were identified in Defra’s recently published Natural Environment White Paper as key mechanisms for delivering strategic-level improvements to the range of benefits and services obtained from a healthy natural environment.

LUC will be helping some of the first LNPs in England to drive forward a new cross-cutting approach to nature conservation – gaining involvement from across the environmental, health and economic sectors.
