Public Sector

LUC has provided independent advice to the public sector for over 45 years, and is highly experienced in stakeholder review and public consultation. We have worked extensively with government at the national and local level and also, pre-2010, at the regional level –bringing a wealth of regional expertise to authorities that have found their remit broadened with the demise of the regional tier. Evaluating environmental policies and programmes, and helping build climate change adaptation into development plans at regional, strategic and local levels are key areas of expertise.

We also advise on strategies for government agencies such as Natural England and Scottish Natural Heritage, as well as the devolved governments.
