Conservation Management Plans and Setting Studies

Conservation management plans (CMPs) are guiding documents which provide landowners and managers with a clear understanding of sites and their significance. They are prepared to inform and guide management, to direct restoration and conservation work or as a starting point for considering new development within sensitive landscapes. CMPs are valuable tools for securing external funding and are a key component of the Heritage Lottery Fund application process.
