Sam Oxley
About
Sam has over 25 years' experience in landscape design, landscape planning and landscape management, and sits on LUC's Company Board.
Sam provides landscape advice for projects from inception through to completion, including concept and detailed landscape designs and design guides for planning applications. Her work covers landscape and environmental management plans, as well as audits during the implementation of projects on site. She is also involved in landscape character assessments and strategic landscape studies.
She has worked on a wide range of landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIA), including for renewable energy, major grid and other infrastructure, as well as mineral extraction, water resources and schools. She regularly acts as expert witness at examination, hearings and public inquiries across the UK and in Ireland.
Sam places landscape at the heart of her work, striving to help address the climate and biodiversity emergencies and make a difference with every project.
