Held at the EICC in Edinburgh, the two-day conference brings together policymakers, developers and industry experts to explore how onshore wind can continue to deliver for both climate and nature, while addressing challenges in grid, planning and a rapidly evolving policy landscape.

Jo will contribute to the session "The climate and nature crises – how onshore wind is ticking all the boxes", which will examine the sector’s role in addressing the twin challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss.

The session will cover:

• How the policy landscape for Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Outcome Reports is changing across the UK
• Shifting biodiversity and peatland restoration requirements, and the implications for developers
• Expert perspectives on natural heritage protection and what this means for meeting onshore wind targets
