LUC volunteers for Water of Leith Conservation Trust
Last Thursday, 16 budding volunteers from the Edinburgh office spent some time helping the Water of Leith Conservation Trust with some tasks along the walkway by Dean Village.
Holly Shayler from our GIS & Visualisation team enjoyed taking part. She said:
"The walkway is a regular path for many of us and part of our neighbourhood, so it was an excellent opportunity for us to contribute to restoring the area we know so well and love! Tasks for the day included cutting back weeds and nettles, sweeping steps, litter picking, and scrubbing graffiti off walls. We also enjoyed a tour of St Bernard’s Well and Dean Village."
