Camden Active Spaces

Active Play article published by Horticulture Week

We are delighted that Horticulture Week has highlighted a really innovative project we have been working on with Camden Council’s Public Health team.

The Active Spaces project aims to tackle significant childhood obesity levels within primary school age children within the Borough, by investing in new external play spaces which encourage high levels of physical activity.

The initiative is further strengthened by the involvement of UCL and the Institute of Sport Exercise & Health, whose sports scientists are monitoring the impacts the play spaces are having on the health of the pupils before and after the play space enhancements.
