Alistair Peet speaking at Newcastle University ‘Discussion with Alumni’
Alistair Peet, Consultant Planner at LUC, is speaking at a ‘Discussion with Alumni’ event at Newcastle University next week.
Alistair will overview the skills he developed as a student, and how they are applied in a Planning profession. He will also provide career guidance and an insight into bridging the gap between academia and practice.
The University’s School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape is hosting the alumni session, aimed at students in related disciplines.
It aims to inform graduate applications, and identify the qualities sought after by employers in the Planning sector.
The session is part of Newcastle University’s ‘Planning Futures’ week. This will compromise a series of careers event and will feature delegates from Planning consultancies across the UK.
As part of this weeklong event, LUC will also host a careers session earlier in the week. Our Director of Planning, Nick James, will give a presentation to students outlining our climate-conscious services, and will chart some of the possible career paths through the Planning sector.
