Blakedown Landscape recently completed on-site works for the LUC-designed landscape at Berkhamsted Preparatory School.

LUC’s Landscape Design team worked closely with the school and stakeholders in developing the scheme, securing full unconditional planning permission in 2021. 

The key principles include providing better access, natural play and enhanced learning opportunities supporting the overall curriculum the school offers.

The updated design includes new amenities and increased play opportunities for students to both use and enjoy while learning. Our designers connected a previously compartmentalised landscape into one flowing space, providing a newly accessible setting for the School.
