Caisteal Bharraich project named 2019 Civic Trust Award winner
LUC is pleased that Caisteal Bharraich has been announced as a 2019 Civic Trust AABC Conservation Awards winner. The project is one of nine to have been selected for either an award or commendation.
LUC worked closely with GRAS on the ecological aspects of the project. Having identified bat roosts within the building, we designed bespoke and discreet bat roost opportunities, improving the overall ecological value of the historic castle. Our involvement at Caisteal Bharraich forms part of our wider work on the Wildland project.
The final decision will be revealed at the 60th Anniversary Civic Trust Awards Ceremony, held at the iconic venue of the Imperial War Museum North in Trafford, Manchester on Friday 1 March 2019.
