
Alison King to speak at ‘City Conversations on Biodiversity Net Gain’ webinar
LUC is proud to announce that Alison King, Associate Landscape Architect, will speak at the next City Conversations webinar. The online discussion on Biodiversity Net Gain takes place on Tuesday 28 January 2025, from 4.30 to 6.00pm.
This session will explore the first year of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) requirements and their impact on the construction industry.
The panel will tackle pressing questions, including how to integrate nature into urban environments, address skills shortages in ecology, and support local planning teams to deliver effective BNG in developments.

Alison King has been with LUC since 2010 and has contributed to some of the consultancy’s most innovative and impactful projects. Her portfolio includes the AELTC Wimbledon Park Project, Camden Active Spaces, and Regent’s Park Gloucester Gate Playground. Alison brings her extensive experience in landscape architecture to the conversation, offering valuable insights into creating sustainable and biodiverse urban spaces.
City Conversations is a long-running series of thought-leadership events, produced by The Happold Foundation and ngenuity Ltd. These discussions focus on the major issues shaping cities, including climate change, resource efficiency, and citizen wellbeing.
