LUC pioneers digital reporting tools for accessibility and inclusivity
LUC continues to pioneer new ways of using technology to address accessibility and inclusivity issues in our industry.
Our GIS & Visualisation team has developed a digital platform to create engaging, interactive, accessible reports for clients. The platform is fully compliant with Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
The reports are designed with attractiveness in mind, including several visual elements to enhance the experience. The new platform improves efficiency, and content is easier to update than other common methods of digital reporting. Interactive tables and map brings these technical reports to life.
LUC already successfully produces digital reports across a range of sectors.
This exciting tool forms part of LUC’s wider ambition to transform the way clients engage with project outputs. Our expert team is on a journey to understand how our technical evidence reports can be made as accessible as possible. We are working with selected clients, using their feedback to drive this innovative and far-reaching aspiration forward.
Get in touch with us to discuss how digital reporting can transform your project.
You can see a live version of the platform in the Tranquillity and Place – Dark Skies report, which we have produced in partnership with Natural Resources Wales.
