LUC commissioned to undertake ecological study for Stockport
LUC has been commissioned by Stockport Council to undertake an ecological study for the borough. Our Ecologists will produce an up-to-date, cohesive description of ecological resources in Stockport. This will be informed by a review of baseline data using a bespoke assessment tool.
We will survey sites across the borough to explore enhancement opportunities. The work will provide context for policies and proposals of the emerging Local Plan.
The project is being led by our Associate Ecologist, Sofie Swindlehurst, who recently re-joined LUC to establish our Ecology team in Manchester.
