 
 LUC Ecologists raise funds for SCAD awareness
LUC’s Ecologists are thrilled to have raised over £700 for Beat SCAD at the weekend.
Members of our Ecology team in Scotland took part in the Inflatable 5K Run in Glasgow on Saturday to raise funds for the Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection awareness charity.
The team had a great time running the race, bashing their way through the obstacles and bouncing down the inflatable mountains. They even celebrated with pancakes for brunch the next day.
SCAD can strike a perfectly healthy adult from 18 to 80, and seems to affect women more often than men. Beat SCAD is raising money for research and treatment and awareness.
