The Garden at 120 Fenchurch Street opens to the public
We are delighted that The Garden at 120 at Fenchurch Street in London has opened to the public.
LUC’s landscape architects collaborated with Eric Parry Architects and Latz + Partner (concept landscape design) to create a rooftop garden in the heart of the City of London. The space is now fully open to the public.
The roof garden is designed to include all the best aspects of a public space. Members of the public can now sit on a bench underneath a bower of wisteria, 15 stories up in the air suspended among the rooftops of the Square Mile.
Our scheme sensitively combines seasonal herbaceous planting with exposure-tolerant and evergreen grasses, vines and espalier fruit.
The wisteria grove, which is the centrepiece of the scheme, will provide a magnificent display of scented amethyst flower in May and shelter for visitors on hot summer days.
