LUC GIS Consultant to speak at ‘GIS for Housing’ event
Our Principal GIS Consultant Edith Lendak is set to speak at the ‘GIS for Housing – Digital Transformation for Housing’ conference, organised by ESRI, in London on the 19th of September.
The event promises to be of interest for people working not just in the field of GIS, but also in housing policy and development. The event will introduce innovative use of GIS technology for transforming the housing industry, enabling smarter use of data with the aim of creating efficiencies and cost savings.
Following Edith’s successful presentation of LUC’s Growth Option Assessment approach at the ESRI UK User Conference in May this year, she will cover a number of housing related projects which benefit from GIS, including Sustainability Appraisal, Green Belt and Green Infrastructure assessment.
For more information on the conference visit the event page. To learn more about LUC’s Growth Option Assessment approach read our case study. We will be soon publishing some findings from our new Site Finding tool our GIS team has been developing, so watch out for it on our website.
