LUC has been commissioned by The Royal Parks to develop plans for an innovative new play space in Regent’s Park.

The Royal Parks wishes to update the playground at Gloucester Gate that was originally created in the 1930s.

LUC’s plan will push the boundaries of play design and aims to provide a space that will appeal to all ages. The enhanced facilities will offer a wide range of risk and challenge across a broad spectrum of ability from toddlers to young teenagers including the less able, parents and carers.

Our design approach was inspired by the landscape character and the history of this prestigious park. We used landform and sculptural use of timber to create a unique set of play environments, offering high play value and huge fun.
