LUC Landscape Architects to speak at Healthy City Design conference
Our Landscape Architects Jennette Emery-Wallis and Alison King are set to speak at the Healthy City Design International conference in October.
The conference, which will take place at the Royal College of Physicians in London, will feature two days of high-level, insightful, provocative and entertaining presentations on citymaking, sustainable development, smarter cities, urban planning, homes and neighbourhoods, and work and mobility.
Jennette and Alison will be giving a presentation entitled “Health warning: is too much safety bad for our children’s health?” based around two of our London play projects: Camden Active Spaces and Tumbling Bay.
Jennette will also go on to lead a walking tour of the multi award-winning Tumbling Bay playground, which LUC designed the playscape for.
The event will take place over 16–17 October 2017. For more information and to register to attend, visit Healthy City Design International.

We’re really pleased to share that Swiss Cottage Open Space has won a BALI National Landscape Award in the Community & Schools Development category. As landscape architects for the scheme, it’s great to see this recognition for a project that has created a welcoming and much-loved space in the heart of Camden.
