LUC helping design the new Granton Waterfront
LUC is excited to be part of the design team developing the Granton Waterfront Strategic Plan and Development Framework.
We are supporting Collective Architecture and Studio for New Realities on the City of Edinburgh Council project.
The proposed £1.3bn development incorporates 3,500 new homes, a school, medical centre, cycling and walking routes and sustainable transport hubs.
A key component to the development is a waterfront park from Gypsy Brae to Granton Harbour. The aim is to help reconnect the waterfront to the City whilst transforming the area of former industrial land into a place where people want to live, work and visit.
