LUC sponsoring and speaking at Health in All Policies conference
LUC is sponsoring the Health in All Policies (HiAP) conference in London on 1 May. Our Principal Landscape Architect, Alison King, will also deliver a presentation on our health and wellbeing work.
This year’s conference follows the topic of “Delivering Health Equity Tackling Inequality” and will welcome delegates from local authorities from across the UK.
Alison will speak in a presentation titled “How Intelligent Landscape Design can help to Reduce Health Inequality”. She will use LUC’s projects, Hamiltonhill Claypits in Glasgow and also Hounslow Active in London, as case studies.
Health inequality in the UK has complex causes and we need solutions from a range of sources to successfully reduce it. Alison will share her thoughts on this.
