LUC Landscape Architect presents findings of humanitarian research
Our Year Out Landscape Architect Rhys Jones, who is a recent University of Gloucestershire graduate, recently completed a talk with fellow landscape architects at consultancy Terra Firma on his dissertation research about the profession expanding into the humanitarian sector.
Rhys’ research was on the role landscape architecture can play in refugee camps and slums and involved a study trip to Nicaragua where he practiced his ideas by supporting the local community with issues caused by heavy rainfall and wastewater.

Rhys will be repeating his talk for his colleagues at LUC.
