LUC gives talk about creating ‘local identity’ at Ecobuild
Rebecca Knight, our Associate Director of Landscape Planning, gave a presentation at Ecobuild last week. The main topic of discussing was ‘what makes local identity/distinctiveness’ as part of a design Masterclass on ‘Creating Places that are Special’. She also spoke about the work LUC did on the characterisation of Oxford and the Character and Context Supplementary Planning Guidance.
Ecobuild looked at what’s new, interesting and inspiring in construction. There were 3 distinct themes reflecting growth areas – Homes, Architecture & Next Generation.
