LUC Director joins IEMA panel on Cumulative Effects Assessment in EIA
Joanna Wright, our Director of Environmental Planning, was part of the IEMA panel at a Cumulative Effects Assessment in EIA webinar yesterday.
The panel comprised three EIA experts: Rebecca McLean, EIA Technical Director at SWECO; Julia Barrett, Technical Specialist (EIA) at Mott Macdonald and Joanna Wright, our Director of Environmental Planning.
Cumulative effects assessment is an important factor in EIA. However there is not currently a commonly used and replicable approach to this within the EIA field.
The webinar, chaired by Rachel Lawson, Associate Director at WSP, discussed the difficulties and possible opportunities for cumulative effects assessment in EIA.
Joanna enjoyed answering audience questions and sharing her tips and experiences on this topic.
