Isabella Plantation wins BALI Award
We are delighted that our Isabella Plantation Access Improvement project won a BALI National Landscape Award in the Restoration and Regeneration Scheme category last week.
We were appointed lead designers on this HLF-funded project to improve access and upgrade access road surfaces, key pathways and provide new amenities for all users, but particularly those with disabilities, without destroying the tranquil and unspoilt nature of Plantation.
This highly successful project actively involved the local community in design and volunteering, and provided two apprenticeships within The Royal Parks Apprenticeship scheme.
The judges said: ‘The feedback received from The Royal Parks and the park users has been very positive with the client commenting that the design objectives have been more than met and the areas been opened up to more visitors.’
