Joanna Wright to deliver flooding and sustainable drainage masterclass
Joanna Wright, Director of Environmental Planning at LUC, is delivering a masterclass this week on behalf of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
She will discuss planning and flood risk within the context of the increasing need to adapt to climate change.
The class is the second instalment of the training course, which began in October. It will contribute towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for RTPI members.
Paul Blackman from Wallingford HydroSolutions is supporting Joanna in delivering the course, with technical expertise in sustainable drainage systems (SuDs).
The masterclass will take place virtually on Thursday 11 November.
LUC has a long track record working with climate change mitigation and adaptation.
This includes climate positive designs and natural capital assessments that assist in our response to the climate emergency.
