
Kate Ahern talks landscape change for Urban Design London webinar
LUC Director of Landscape Planning, Kate Ahern, has delivered a presentation for an Urban Design London webinar.
‘Managing Development in the Countryside’ explores meeting housing targets, buildings in a rural setting and landscape management.
The agenda includes:
- The Policy Framework and its Applications – Andy Watson
- Tools and Techniques to meet housing targets while conserving and enhancing the landscape – Kate Ahern
- Natural Capital and How it Can Help the Rural Economy – Molly Biddell
The talk is part of the National Programme for built environment officers and councillors across England. The programme covers planning, housing, public realm, streets and transport topics.
The event is presented digitally in light of Public Health’s England guidance on COVID–19. The session is only open to Urban Design London’s National Programme Members.
