Kennoxhead Wind Farm gains consent
PNE Wind UK has received planning consent from the Scottish Government for the 64.6MW Kennoxhead wind farm in South Lanarkshire.
LUC advised PNE Wind from the preliminary landscape and visual feasibility stage right through to the completion of the LVIA and production of subsequent Supplementary Environmental Information (SEI), which included a redesign of the proposal and a change in the turbine specification for the scheme in late 2013-2014.
Kennoxhead will consist of 19 turbines to be built on land south of Glespin in South Lanarkshire and will benefit the local community by £8m over the 25 year operating period.
