LUC to author Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Local Nature Recovery Strategy
Cambridgeshire County Council has appointed LUC to author and edit the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
LUC is working alongside Natural Capital Solutions, the organisation undertaking habitat mapping to form the basis of the strategy. Natural Cambridgeshire is leading the consultation.

LUC is also working closely with the LNRS Steering Group through a series of workshops and editorial meetings to deliver an evidence-based, locally-led strategy.
Experts from LUC’s Landscape Management and Strategic Ecology teams are collaborating on this project.
LUC is excited to help develop the LNRS approach. The strategy will provide practical actions to deliver nature recovery and wider environmental and societal benefits through nature-based solutions.
Further information on the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Local Nature Recovery Strategy is available from the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority.
