Lorna Hutchison to deliver bat ecology CPD presentation
Lorna Hutchison, Senior Ecologist at LUC, is delivering a bat ecology presentation to clients later this week.
The presentation will provide an overview of bat ecology and their legal protection. It will look at how ecologists determine bats’ presence or likely absence from buildings, and the implications for planning applications. It will also briefly look at planning policies relevant to ecology, noting the requirement to complete protected species surveys before planning consent is granted.
The presentation will contribute towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD). It is relevant to a range of industry specialists, including architects, engineers, and developers.
The session will take place online on Thursday 17 February.
LUC has extensive experience solving the ecological challenges our clients face during the design, consent and implementation stages of their projects. Learn more about our Ecology services.
