LUC attends Faith and Place Network policy briefing launch
The Faith and Place Network policy briefing was launched at the House of Commons last week.
Stephen Timms MP opened the briefing, reflecting on faith and place, followed by the network leaders giving an overview of the briefing recommendations.
Our Head of Planning Philip Smith advised the Faith and Place Network on the briefing, which drew upon LUC’s work, with CAG Consultants, in London and Northampton on meeting the development needs of faith communities.
Philip attended the launch, with particular interest in the opportunities presented by large scale housing to address the shortfall in provision of community facilities and places of worship.
