LUC completes Shoreditch Park improvement works for London Borough of Hackney
LUC has completed the Shoreditch Park improvement works for the London Borough of Hackney.
From the initial concept design stage, we aimed to deliver a park that works for the local community, both old and new.
We took steps to identify the needed improvements to Shoreditch Park entirely through community engagement. Over 1,900 local people and park users participated in the public consultations, providing ideas to shape the park designs.
The improvement works include enhancing biodiversity, upgrading the existing sports and play facilities and improving the park entrances and furniture provision.
The project was completed in March 2023 and the park is now open to the public.
