LUC Ecology secures multiple protected species licences
Autumn normally brings a welcome break for our ecology team, having spent spring and summer surveying development projects the length and breadth of the UK. This year, however, thanks to our growing team of protected species licenced consultants, we’re as busy as ever implementing mitigation strategies and protected species licences.
Our team is currently managing a suite of protected species licences that are enabling our clients to develop their sites in compliance with nature conservation legislation. From complex bat exclusions at nursing homes in London to badger exclusions at infrastructure projects on the west coast of Scotland, our team is hard at work ensuring our clients projects don’t suffer unnecessary delays.
Autumn is normally the most important time of the year for excluding bats, badgers and otters from development sites. For pragmatic advice on how to progress your development this winter, contact our ecology team.
