LUC Ecology team enjoys away-day in Norfolk
Last week, LUC’s Ecology team enjoyed their annual away-day – this year held in Norfolk. The trip was an excellent opportunity to catch up with colleagues from all offices before the busy survey season begins.
In 2018, our Ecology team continued to grow, welcoming another five ecologists to London, Bristol and Glasgow. Aside from our company-wide gathering in Peebles last year, this was the first time our Ecologists have all been in a room together.
We spent the morning reflecting on the previous year of Ecology projects, before a round-up of our business performance. The team also spent time planning for the future.
Two of our Ecologists, Becky and Rory, gave a demonstration on their newly acquired tree-climbing skills. This was a great opportunity us to better understand how LUC can use this to benefit our projects and clients. In the afternoon we drove to the coast for a spot of seal-watching, where we also saw a large flock of pink footed geese.
Evenings were spent eating delicious home cooked meals, playing games in the mansion and bonding as a team.
