LUC grows EIA team in Scotland

We are pleased to welcome two new members to our growing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) team in Scotland.  Nick Brown joins our EIA project management team as a Principal Environmental Planner, and Graham Cameron joins our Landscape and Seascape Assessment team as a consultant landscape planner.

With a background in development planning, EIA and project engineering, Nick will help expand our existing Planning and Development services, as well as strengthening our post-consent planning and compliance team with project enablement and construction expertise.  He will provide specialist input into:

  • Environmental Impact Assessment
  • Development Planning
  • Planning condition discharge
  • Planning Monitoring and Compliance
  • Carbon Balance Assessment
  • Principal Designer and Design management (CDM)

Graham has a background in landscape design, planning and management, and brings a broad range and depth of skills to complement our growing Landscape Planning and Management Team. He will provide specialist input into:

  • Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA)
  • Routeing and assessment of overhead transmission infrastructure
  • Seascape, coastal and landscape character assessment, and sensitivity studies
  • Preparation and delivery of landscape mitigation proposals
  • Specialist viewpoint photography in accordance with current guidance

He also brings with him added experience in the use of ArcGIS and current 3D visualisation techniques, and will support the LUC GIS & Visualisation team to expand our resource in this area.
