LUC helps Erskine to Devol Moor 132kV Overhead Line project secure Section 37 consent
Scottish Ministers granted the Erskine to Devol Moor 132kV Overhead Line project consent last month.
This milestone reflects the successful ongoing multidisciplinary support LUC provides to SP Energy Networks. We work together on projects which reinforce the electricity grid network to maintain the security of supply and increase capacity for renewable energy generation.

LUC was involved in the project between 2017 and 2020, supporting the Routeing and Consultation and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) stage. LUC also assisted SP Energy Networks with post-application planning support.
Our landscape architects, ecologists, and historic environmental experts also undertook detailed environmental surveys, with support from our in-house visualisations team.

“We are delighted to have supported SP Energy Networks in securing Section 37 consent for this important grid reinforcement project. LUC and SP Energy Networks have worked alongside each other since 2004 and are continuing to work together to strengthen the electricity transmission network across Scotland to deliver Net Zero and Biodiversity Net Gain.”
