LUC speaks at Icelandic landscape planning and design seminar
Our Director and Associate Director of Landscape Planning, Sam Oxley and Paul Macrae, spoke at the Icelandic ‘Living in the landscape’ seminar today.
The event was held by the National Planning Agency, in collaboration with the Icelandic Landscape Architects Association, at the Nordic House in Iceland. Around 20 people attended in person, with over 100 viewing the live stream.
The seminar featured a number of presentations on aspects of landscape planning and design and is part of the Planning Agency’s morning meeting series on national planning policy. Sam and Paul’s topic was ‘Future Applications of Landscape Character Assessment in Planning and Management – Examples from the UK’.
LUC was invited to present at the seminar as we have been assisting with the first National Landscape Character Assessment of Iceland, which was launched at the event.
The seminar can be viewed here.
