LUC participates in Mental Health Awareness Week
Using the 2017 Mental Health Awareness Week theme of ‘Surviving or Thriving’, LUC is celebrating ways to foster good mental health.
Throughout this week, representatives from each of the offices will be leading lunchtime walks to nearby locations to appreciate some art and nature while connecting with colleagues and enjoying some exercise and fresh air to improve their mental wellbeing.
This week also marks the introduction of Mental Health First Aiders at LUC, with a large number of volunteers to undertake Mental Health First Aid training. This will ensure there is always someone available to talk to about a mental health concern, able to offer support and information on sources of help.
We’re also challenging our colleagues with a competition to win Mindfulness prizes!
